A few weeks ago I got a surprise in the mail. I almost missed it because we've been mail-ordering everything for more than a year (Thanks, Pandemic!) and when the package came in, it was with a bunch of bulk packages I wasn't in a hurry to open. So I was very excited when I opened this one and discovered a good friend of mine had sent me a gift. A hardcover edition of The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue .
